Through its association with the internationally active Feddersen Group, port F benefits from strong backing and a wide range of contacts. The group’s global business activities include the distribution of engineering plastics, speciality chemicals and technical products; plastics manufacturing; services relating to contract compounding, masterbatches and biodegradable and bio-based compounds; the manufacture of twin-screw extruders; and the trading of stainless steel.

K.D. Feddersen Foundation
The K.D. Feddersen Foundation (sole shareholder of the Feddersen Group) was established by the company’s founder, Karl Detlef Feddersen, out of a desire to give something back to society. The foundation has been running a residential care home for the elderly in Hamburg since 1984. The work of this charitable foundation is significantly supported by the dividends distributed by K.D. Feddersen Holding GmbH. In recent years, the residential complex has been expanded in several construction phases and extensively modernised.
